New Owners Of RSS Feeds Search Engine Octora.com Offer Inexpensive Tag-Ads

(PRWeb) December 8, 2006 -- Octora.com, a RSS Feeds Search Engine, is going through some changes. The biggest change is having a new owner, MediaMoo. Also, the Web 2.0 site has gone through a bit of a makeover, adding some features including Tag-Ads for search results.

The biggest difference one will notice when they go to Octora isn't the visual makeover, but is what visitors will see once they start making searches. People searching for rss feeds for whatever niche they want will get the results and also see a note above the search results saying whether or not the tag they just used is available to purchase at only $0.75 a month. The ads will be similar in size to the popular four line contextual ads found on-line.

"The Tag-ads will start out at only $0.75 each per month with a minimum of 5 tags. We right now are selling these 5 packs, but will soon add 10 packs and more," says Mediamoo owner Tim Phelan. "However, we plan to raise the price soon. Perhaps in a couple weeks. The great thing for buyers now is that they can lock in this price for inexpensive advertising for life."

The plan is to take all the money from the tag-ads and put it right back into creating more traffic by various means. This will drive more people to search and to see both the huge selection of feeds and also an ad by a Octora user.

Phelan says the goal is to make these tag-ads have value. "The main way we can add value to these ads is to keep driving traffic to the site by seo, word of mouth, on-line advertising and offline promotion. In fact we are promoting Octora 4 times this month on a radio show that has 10 million listeners. Also, we are currently advertising on Forbes.com and SEOChat. So once these users see that the ads are getting results they will see the value. Imagine having a keyword or tag such as real estate for only $0.75 a month for life!"

Some of the other additions will be a news aggregator, RSS feeds reader, news portal, RSS niche content groups, rss feeds directory and more.

Programmer Vladimir Ghetau says that the new tag-ads will be something that users can sell or even rent out. "We will shortly provide a system so that Octora members can place whatever price they want onto their keyword ads. These ads will be highly targeted because they will only show in search results for the keywords. We also plan to further improve the algorithm of the search engine and keep the spam out. "

"By the way" adds Ghetau. "Another bonus of buying these tag-ads now is that by doing so you will be placed in the rss feeds directory which will soon become a paid directory. Stay tuned, because we have a lot of plans for octora."
